HR Advisor

£15 per hour
The HR Adviser post also contributes to the following:

  • The delivery of the Workforce and OD strategy supporting projects where required.
  • The development of the HR team, through sharing expertise, and best practice and participating in team development.
  • The regular review and revision of HR policies.

Main Responsibilities:


  • To contribute to the delivery of the Workforce and OD strategy supporting projects where required. ? To contribute to the development of the HR team, through sharing expertise, and best practice and participating in team development.
  • To contribute to the regular review and revision of HR policies.
  • Advising Management and Employees on a variety of employment issues including, but not limited to, performance management, absence management and support, disciplinary issues, capability and other employee issues.
  • Develop the skills and knowledge of managers to manage the high performance of their teams.
  • To lead projects and activities associated with the Workforce and OD strategy.
  • Providing advice on Employment Law, National and Local Conditions of Service and the Council's Human Resources policies.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 5 GCSE'S A-C (including Maths and English), or equivalent experience in housing, social policy or a related work area.
  • Graduate member CIPD or equivalent relevant experience.
  • CIPD member
