The Other House is a new lifestyle brand of Residents Clubs redefining the hospitality market.
Effortlessly combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel services, residents can stay for a day or a year - think hotel meets private members club.
It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability - rather like our residents - and with everything available on The Other House app, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.
Role:
Waiter/Waitress (F&B Team Member)
Remuneration Package:
£23,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, with additional service charge minimum of £5000 per annum
The Other House is looking for a dynamic and energetic waiter/waitress, who has a passion for delivering exceptional, outside the box, food & beverage experiences across several outlets, serving a mix of residents, members and guests.
This individual needs to have a strong desire for creating memorable moments through personalised guest service and a passion for restaurant operations.
We are looking for an individual who effectively will deliver entrepreneurial food and beverage service with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
For us, there is 'inside the box', there is 'outside the box' and then there are our Other House Mates - passionate, self-driven and completely comfortable with pushing the boundaries.
About you - We are looking for someone who:
- challenges the status quo with an instinct for delivering the ultimate experience, especially when under pressure
- entertains & engages with guests whilst serving drinks
- has a keen interest in hospitality and good product knowledge about spirits and classic cocktails, with a desire to learn and develop with us.
- has good communication skills & very good level of English.
- is passionate and hard-working, with a desire to make The Other House team proud
- possesses ability to retain information
- shares and follows The Other House values
- combines honesty, integrity, reliability and a positive attitude
- finds solutions to and overcomes challenging situations in The Other House manner and has professionalism.
- has experience with a POS system
- is approachable, and has an eye for attention to detail
- is constantly vigilant for opportunities' to upsell and increase revenue for the Residents Club
- has a positive, engaging personality
- has good interpersonal skills
- has strong task and time management abilities
- has the right to work in UK
