Job summary

We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher to join our team at The Southover Partnership, a specialist independent school providing high-quality education and pastoral support to children with social, emotional and mental health needs, autism and other complex needs.

Responsibilities

• To promote the vision, values and core purpose of The Southover Partnership in line with agreed policies, guidelines and protocols.
• In the absence of the Head of School, be prepared to lead and manage in line with the school's policies and guidelines.
• To provide professional leadership which secures, in consultation with the Trustees, the success and improvement of the school, ensuring high quality education and care for the students so that they are safe and happy at school and enabled to be successful learners who achieve high standards.
