£78,000- £80,000 ( comprised of c£64,000 basic plus 10% annual bonus and car allowance of £7750 )

Hybrid ( 1-2 days in the office. The rest is WFH)


The Company
International centralised purchasing " hub" for clients within the food and drink sector.

This organisation is a not-for-profit franchise-owned company and aims to get its retail store clients across France, Germany and the UK the best possible prices onfood products in order to support them in growing and becoming successful.

This is an open plan office environment and you will be fully responsible for developing and delivering a functional strategic sourcing strategy for dairy, in collaboration with theSenior Strategic Sourcing Manager (Bakery, Dairy & Grocery) and other strategic sourcing management colleagues to standardise and embed processes, create value, and deliver savings across the business


The role

  • Developing & delivering a strategic dairy sourcing strategy
  • Working with supply chain, CSR, operations the finance team to ensure rebate forecasting and collection is on track
  • Working to agreed targets on productivity/cost savings/ performance against inflation
  • Delivering and reviewing strategies against an agreed timetable
  • Liaising constantly with the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager (Bakery, Dairy & Grocery)
  • Agreeing a dairy sourcing programme against agreed timetable
  • Working to sustainability KPIs in order to reduce waste
  • Visiting new suppliers and agreeing contract terms

Requirements:


  • Experience in the procurement of food, in particular dairy products
  • Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Car driver
