£23, £27,248.00 DoE


Norse Group are a lead facilities management services provider built on a foundation of joint ventures with Local Government partners.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our FM team on a permanent, full-time basis.


As our Maintenance Assistant, you will provide a high-quality maintenance service for the properties maintained by the Health Engineering Services Team, based at Whiffler Road, Norwich and supporting properties in the surrounding area.

While ensuring continued efficiency, safety, reliability and to safeguard the future long-term serviceability of the estate, you will be responsible to carry out weekly Fire Alarm testing, monthly/annual emergency light testing, legionella temperature monitoring, plantroom inspection, first Visit on mechanical and electrical issues.


Within this consumer facing role, you will be required to supply our clients with professional, compliant, and efficient estates & maintenance services throughout all customer properties whilst adhering to all relevant Norse Policies & Procedures, Workplace Regulations, Health & Safety Legislation and best practice guidelines.

We are looking for a motivated individual that possesses previous building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.

Alongside this, we are seeking for you to display:


  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Take part in a callout rota
  • A Full Clean Drivers Licence
