A leading independent commercial property company based in Preston are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

They are experts in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Construction and Development. This is a great job for a BusinessDevelopment Manager that is motivated, hardworking, lively and driven by success.


The main duties of the job will include:

  • Proactively generate leads for property requirements near our sites whether this be in person, through social channels such as LinkedIn
  • Building relationships with businesses on our existing estates, national companies and bluechip companies
  • To work closely with the Sales Team and help monitor / keep the CRM system up to date
  • Target growth sectors/industries to generate leads
  • Work closely with the Asset and Property managers and concentrate on assets that aren't performing as well as others
  • Create further value to the existing portfolio by identifying underutilised and/or unutilised assets and making them income generating
  • Attract clients and develop client relationships by identifying and understanding their property requirements

The key skills required for the job include:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as Business Development Manager
  • Previous experience in a property job is ideal
  • Good allround sales and people skills
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to commute to different sites
