Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Duranta's anaerobic digestion plant.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will work closely with the Operation's Manager and play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of the anaerobic digestion process.

You will monitor and control the anaerobic digestion process, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to set standards; supervise Plant Operators and Technicians to ensure smooth operation and efficient utilisation of resources; conduct regular inspections and checks to identify and address any equipment malfunctions or potential issues; identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective measures to enhance plant efficiency and productivity; ensure the plant operates in compliance with all environmental regulations and permits; and collaborate with the engineering and maintenance team to address and resolve operational challenges promptly.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within an anaerobic digestion plant or similar industrial setting.
Strong understanding of anaerobic digestion processes and waste/water treatment technologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management.
Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and address operational challenges.
Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software for performance evaluation and reporting.
