Cyclical Surveyor

Location:
Ealing - Hybrid working and flexible across different patches in London. You may also be required to visit patches in Staines, Winchester and Oxford.


Salary:
£40-47,000 dependent on experience plus benefits and business mileage.


Contract:
Permanent, Full time, 35 hours per week

Role Overview

As a Surveyor/Project Manager you will develop and deliver planned maintenance projects to time, budget, resident satisfaction and quality whilst meeting all statutory and business compliance requirements.


Some Key responsibilities:


  • Project Management; effectively plan, procure and manage projects to agreed service levels, ensuring works carried out meet the Group's quality requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Stock Condition Surveys; undertake condition surveys to capture defects, produce reports and action plans considering latest sustainability standards and performance specifications.
  • Optimize Asset Performance; assist in maintaining the groups' asset database by regularly reviewing and updating existing data and carrying out value for money exercises to achieve business objectives.
  • Communication; effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, attend resident meetings and manage complaints.
Risk; ability to assess, control, manage and mitigate risk.


More about you:


  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A
  • C)
  • ONC/HNC in building surveying or similar discipline
  • Welldeveloped level of technical building knowledge
  • Awareness of how frameworks within which RSL's operate
  • Ability to identify, analyse and manage risk and diagnose building defects
  • Previous experience of managing cyclical and/or major works programmes to residents homes in a Social Housing Partnering Environment
