An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Management Information Team within Children's Service Information and ICT.

Over the past few years the range and complexity of work that the team covers has expanded to cover additional technology and systems across Childrens Services.


The successful applicant will be responsible for the Management Information Systems within Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service, developing in-service data capture systems, in system online enrolment, funding and audit rule compliance standards, performance management data and meeting the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and Ofsted data requirements.


We are looking for dedicated, personable individuals to work closely with the operational leads, system providers and corporate ICT colleagues to deliver successful outcomes to support the aims of the department.


The qualities of the successful applicants will include:

  • Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Selfmotivated with experience of delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet targets within prescribed timescales.
  • Established and proficient ICT Skills.
  • Ability to guide and influence employees and managers at a senior level.
  • Understanding of ESFA data and funding rules.
  • Leading staff groups engaged in data capture in input.


The purpose of the Information and ICT service is to support operational services to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people in Derbyshire through the provision of integrated and focussed information and ICT services.
