Description

Working for this leading high-end bespoke commercial joinery and manufacturer who specialise in high quality commercial fit out works. They are seeking an experienced Bench Hand Joiner. Working at their Manchester premises and reporting into the Owner andthe Ops Manager.

Your role will involve:

Bench joinery work including making reception desks, tea points, medial walls/boards for tv's to stand onto as well as cabinet making, feature walls and feature ceilings
To manufacture and install high end contemporary bespoke joinery and highquality commercial fit out works
You will work with various materials including laminate, veneer and Corian work
Understand approved working drawings to complete the manufacture and fit.
All items will require manufacture from cutting lists to install.
Complete timesheets daily to record work completed on the job.
Check your own quality throughout the manufacturing and installation process
Complete job cards
Read and approve risk and method statements
Schedule of install should determine the programme; any issues please discuss and arrange with the project coordinator to issue an updated one that has been agreed.
Housekeeping both in the factory and on site must be "as you go along" and most definitely at the end of each day
Find economical ways to reduce waste
Adhering to health and safety at all times
Onsite fitter work would be ideal as part of the role (not essential)
