Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and problem analysis of LBS integrations
• Direct liaison with our customers and associated 3rd parties to achieve integration.
• Involvement in design process for the projects
• Involvement in giving training to customer.
• Proactively testing and monitoring the deployed solutions as needed
• Out of hours support may be required to accommodate customer change windows.
• Resolving relevant support calls raised from customer technical teams and escalating internally.
• Reproducing issues or bugs in our local environments and creating/editing Jira tickets
• Providing customers with relevant guidelines, documentation, and advice
• Integration of LBS software:
• GMLC/SMLC nodes using Sigtran /SS7/Diameter/5G SBI stack to the relevant Core/Radio network nodes, LCS-Client integration.

Skills Required:

• Experience commensurate with 5 years of comparable, handson experience from a similar role in Telecoms software vendor.
• Experience in customer facing roles.
• Experience in testing
• Knowledge of network issues, CDR and statistics handling and analysis of system alarms in live traffic.
• Efficient in Linux including scripting.
• Experience with SQL preferably with MySQL
• Experience of deploying and supporting similarly complex projects.
• Experience with the SS7/Diameter protocol stacks
• 3GPP standards familiarity

Education Required:

• A minimum of a BSc degree or equivalent is required (preferably in a numerate topic and equivalent to UK 2:1).
• BSc or MSc degree in Software Eng., Telcom Eng., or Computer Science is a plus.
