RG Freight Recruitment are working on behalf of a freight forwarder to find an experienced
Freight Forwarder to join their team in
Warrington

The purpose of this role will be to plan and carry out the movement of ocean and EU road shipments across a variety of sectors and clients.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out end to end ocean and EU road movements
  • Costing and negotiating rates to ensure profitability
  • Accurate and timely input of customs clearances
  • Tracking shipments from booking to final destination
  • Communication with clients with updates on shipments and to resolve issues

The Person

  • Experience in ocean or EU road exports in a freight forwarding environment
  • Sound knowledge of customs processes and legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise own workload in a fast moving environment
  • Excellent written and numerical skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
