Are you a detail-orientated professional experienced in machine operations? A leading British manufacturer with over half a century of industry experience are looking for a
Machine Setter to join them at their
Buxton site.


In this role you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery in order to meet production requirements whilst ensuring high quality standards.


What's on offer?
- £24,000 - £30,000 (d.o.e)

  • Monday
  • Friday / 40 hour week
  • Rotating shifts
  • 6:00am 2:00pm / 2:00pm 10:00pm

What will you be doing as a Machine Setter?

  • Setting up and operating machinery to meet production requirements
  • Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments for optimal operation
  • Conducting routine maintenance on machinery to ensure its proper functioning
  • Inspecting finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any machinerelated issues to minimise downtime

What do you need?

  • A background in Engineering
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • An understanding of metal cutting
