Monday - Friday with alternate Saturday mornings

£38,000 - £43,000 (DOE) plus Bonus
Our client is the UK's leading independent builders' merchant with branches across England, Scotland and Wales. The provide a wide range of building materials for trade and the public as well as supplying kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and joinery,and landscaping products

They also take pride in providing their customers with advice and guidance on DIY projects, if required.

The Person

To perform in this role, it's essential that that you have building supplies experience and also a fantastic track record in a similar position.

It will be important that you can demonstrate that you are enthusiastic about selling and have ability to negotiate well.

You should be comfortable working to revenue targets and be comfortable with cold calling.

The Role

Liaising with customers in relation to all sales enquiries both in store and by telephone
Making outbound telephone calls to existing and new customers
Being proactive in following up leads and orders
Maximising all sales opportunities by ensuring that customers are aware of the full product range
Visit new and existing customers
Cold call face to face/telephone to generate leads
Working to revenue targets to ensure company margins achieved
