Normanton £50,000 £58,000**A truly exciting opportunity for a handson qualified CIMA/ ACCA finance professional has arisen at a large prestigious manufacturing client with sites based in Wakefield and Goole. This is a chance for the right person to develop and grow their career in a changing and fastmoving environment. As Finance Business Partner, you will support provide financial support the Operations team at their factory based on the outskirts of Wakefield.

Up to £58,000 per annum

The role of Finance Business Partner will take on a number of responsibilities including:

You will provide key financial information, enabling the business to track progress against divisional targets and make better informed decisions.
This covers all aspects of financial support from period end reporting to providing detailed analysis of variances and trend analysis, as well as developing new ways of working in the newest part of the Operations division.
Responsibility for the site financials including completing the periodend journals to ensure both the P&L and Balance Sheet are accurate
Being the key contact for managers by providing accurate, timely and user friendly reporting on an adhoc basis
Highlighting any areas on the Balance Sheet where additional controls may be needed
Developing a suite of KPI's to be used by the Senior Leadership Team that provide an accurate insight into the financial performance of the site
Preparing operational budgets and forecasts for the site with detailed explanation of the key drivers against prior year

The ideal FBP will be:

Qualified CIMA/ ACCA Accountant
You will have a handson and structured approach be enthusiastic and be looking to develop and grow within the role
You will also need excellent communication skills and have the ability to give non financial managers finance understanding
Have a passion for getting involved in the wider business and driving site performance
You must be IT literate, specifically on excel and ERP systems
Change management or continuous improvement mentality
