Integrated Care Specialists Group Ltd is a full-service, medical recruitment agency located in North West. We are looking for multiple
Medical Receptionists & Administrators to join our us and help Northwest GP Practices with staff shortages on a temporary basis (locum).
As a Medical Receptionist/Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for the patients with each practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage the flow of patients through the practice. You will also assist with other administrative duties, such as scanning & coding.
Job Duties:
- Operation of telephone system
- Answering incoming and making outgoing calls.
- Management of appointment systems
- Booking appointment, arriving patients.
- Processing prescriptions.
- Use of all computer systems
- EMIS, SystemOne and Docman.
- Scanning of correspondence onto medical records and coding.
- Signposting to other healthcare providers.
- Preparation of consulting rooms.
- Start and end of day opening & closing procedures.
Required Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent IT skills
- EMIS web, SystemOne and Docman.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Good phone manner.
- Good time management.
- Flexible.
Job Types:
Temporary contract, Freelance
Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
Medical Receptionist: 1 year (required)
