Page Personnel is supporting a local manufacturing business with their recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on an ongoing temporary contract.
The role is based out of the Portsmouth office where there is some flexibility towork from home once you have an understanding of the processes.

Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Processing large volumes of invoices
- Raising sales invoice
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Handling petty cash
- Preparing the weekly payment run
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Allocating cash when received
- Liaising with credit control regarding customer queries
Profile
In order to be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must:
- Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
- Be immediately available or on vert short notice
- Be able to multitask
- Be able to work as part of a team and also independently
- Be confident with Excel
- V Look Ups, Pivot Tables etc
- Be able to communicate effectively
