Do you have experience of working in a Stores environment?

Are you available to start immediately?

If you have answered yes then we could have the ideal opportunity for you. Contract Scotland is looking for a Stores Assistant to work with our client for a minimum of 4 weeks. This is a full time opportunity and offers weekly pay and the chance of long term work.

This role is based at our clients site in Bathgate where you will work 40 hours Monday to Friday.

You will work as part of a busy Stores Team, where your duties will include:

  • Processing purchase orders in line with company guidelines
  • Issuing required stock to technicians on request and in a timely manner
  • Checking on nonimpress stock to ensure levels are not running too low
  • Keeping stores in a good state of order and cleanliness at all times
  • Ensuring sufficient levels of PPE are available in the Stores
  • Logging all outgoing PPE to the right person
  • Carrying out monthly rolling stock checks
  • Collecting parts locally when required
  • Booking in received goods
  • Receipt inspection
  • Stock control
  • Kitting parts for production
  • Issuing parts


In addition you must have some experience form a similar role and must have a full driving licence, due to the nature of the position.
