Community Behaviour Mentor - 1:1 Support - Waltham Forest


Create Education are looking to speak with enthusiastic and experienced Community Behaviour Mentors for some exciting opportunities working with SEN students in and around the community of the London Borough of Waltham Forest.


The school that the students are affiliated with are a Secondary Specialist SEN School in Lambeth that caters for and works with KS3 and KS4 students between with mixed learning levels and is currently working with gang affiliated students.

The successful Community Behaviour Mentor would ideally be experienced with or willing to work with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other kinds of challenging behaviour.

The role will be working 1:1 and within small intervention groups with students who need extra support throughout the day.

This role will involve supporting students who can show verbally and sometimes physically challenging behaviour.

Experience with this kind of student and in this kind of environment will be crucial to being considered for this role.

The role is a temp to permanent role for an ASAP start. The role will be on a temporary basis for a few weeks before going permanent.

  • Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic
  • Hard working individual and dependable Community Behaviour Mentor
  • Must be able to work well with a team of Community Behaviour Mentor and Community Behaviour Mentor.
