    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial aspects of our projects, maximising profitability, managing risks, and realising opportunities.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Procurement of Subcontractors and Consultants including tender document preparation, contractor bidding, submission evaluation, and subcontract preparation.
    • Management of cash flow including main contract valuations and subcontractor payment processes through site measurement to evaluate construction progress in line with project specifications.
    • Administration of contracts and subcontracts ensuring parties adhere to their obligations and issuing contractual correspondence as necessary.
    • Analyse project designs and construction methods to identify opportunities for improving value and reducing costs without compromising quality, functionality, or regulatory compliance.
    • Change management including variation measurement and pricing, and provision sums assessment.
    • Monthly cost and value reporting and forecasting.
    • Client management including attending client meetings, liaising with clients, and providing information on out-turn forecasts against allocated budgets.
    • Pre-construction input including detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
    • Strong commercial and contractual understanding and administration skills.
    • Procurement, cost management, and financial reporting skills.
    • Strong communication, subcontractor management, and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively on-site with project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
    • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
