Following a recent expansion of the business a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-skilled Technician (Electrician) to join our forward thinking, high performing and ambitious Responsive Repairs and EICR Team in Birkenhead.

£32,362


Status:
Permanent


Hours Per week: 38hrs

This role is permanent on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week.


Multi-skilled Technician (Electrician) Role:


The role will be based in our modern depot in Birkenhead which is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes.

Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby.


The role of Electrician reports directly to the Electrical Team Manager who has the responsibility for managing a team of 11 Responsive and EICR Electricians.


The overall purpose of the role will be to undertake electrical repairs and maintenance to our domestic tenanted properties, communal areas and shops, along with cyclical EICR testing of our stock profile.


Multi-skilled Technician (Electrician) Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 3: C&G 2330, 2357 or equivalent
  • Qualifications for initial and periodic testing and inspection: C&G 2391, 2392 or equivalent
  • Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: th Edition)
  • Completion EICR works and certification
  • Competent fault finding and rectification
  • Accurate coding of observations
Desirable

  • Previous employment in social housing
