Who we are looking for
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Office Assistant to join our team in our Edinburgh office.


As our office assistant, you will be focused on providing exceptional support to our Office Manager, ensuring smooth operations within our contact centre.

You will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders will be essential, as well as being able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and problem-solving as needed.

Your dedication to delivering high-quality work and maintaining a professional demeanour will shine through in all your interactions, contributing to a warm and positive office atmosphere.

Working hours

  • Your hours of work per week will be 37.5 hours with one unpaid lunch hour, Monday through Friday, between 8.30am to 6.00pm.

  • Our contemporary workspace is based at Lochrin Square in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh.

Salary:

- £24,000 per annum
- willing to negotiate dependent on experience


What you'll be doing

  • General facility coordination & office housekeeping
  • Weekly/monthly compliance checks, testing and accurate record keeping
  • Reporting reactive maintenance works where necessary
  • Reception duties
  • Ad hoc duties, including but not limited to responding and helping staff with equipment/liaising with departments to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Stocktaking
  • Coordination of any office moves and liaising between support functions where required

What you'll need

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Previous administration experience including invoice processing
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Previous experience dealing with customer queries
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient typing abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and logical in challenging situations
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Enthusiastic approach with the desire to hit your goals and passionate about continuous development

Desired but not essential

  • Previous contact centre experience
  • Previous experience working in a customer advisor/helpdesk/facilities role is desirable
  • Travel & Tourism industry experience
