coordinator to join our team.

Objectives of this role
The purpose of the Coordinator is to be a central cog in the Life Space Cabins team.

We are looking for someone to provide administrative support and be our 'eyes and ears' to help to facilitate the daily functions and operations of our company,


Responsibilities

  • Help maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safe performance across the company.
  • Oversee visitors to HQ and ensure a friendly, personal and knowledgeable experience.
  • Organise project tasks in priority order alongside the relevant team member(s)
  • Manage project budgets and procurement activities and developing robust relationships with suppliers whilst implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems to improve operational flow.
  • Ensure that each function during the process has the right information and resources ahead of each phase to negate any delays.
  • Work alongside the Directors and team leaders to collaborate with the necessary sub contractors to safely deliver a cabin to its final location and conclusion of any snagging whereby it is the best it can be and makes us all proud.
  • You will work closely with all our team and our suppliers to keep, in particular the carpentry team running smoothly.
  • Coordinate, maintain external supplier / subcontractor resources and cultivate relationships with them.

Requirements:


Essential

  • Two or more years of experience in an office environment or similar.
  • Strong timemanagement and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Full clean driving licence with the ability to commute (we are based in a rural location with limited public transport). We do offer a cycle to work scheme.
  • Confidence in procurement and negotiation to ensure you are getting the best prices available.
  • Confidence in delegating as well as taking responsibility for your own decisions.
  • Team player who uses strong communication skills, active listening in order to develop and maintain consistent credibility with all colleagues.
  • Care about what you and we do.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge and implementation of statutory Health and Safety documents.
  • A passion for smaller spaces.
  • Experience of working with discerning customers.
  • Willingness to help on site as and when required. (light duties)
  • Willingness to drive our vans to help with collecting supplies or equipment.

You will be based at our HQ and workshop at Moorshead Sawmills, Yealmpton, Plymouth, Devon PL8 2ES
Negotiable Pay dependent on experience and suitability. Pro-rata salary range £22,880 - £35,360.

Some overtime may be required but we rarely work weekends.
