Are you looking for a career within a close-knit team working for a well-established, but expanding business? Where each day is different, your contributions are recognised and you're not stuck behind a screen each day? If so, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

We are a Timber Importer based in Cardiff Docks with an industrial sawmill and tanking facility. We are looking for someone to pick orders, to keep our mill and tanks fed and our trailers loaded. A Forklift license is essential and side-loader training and timber knowledge is a plus , but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Loading delivery vehicles accurately
• Pick loads ready for deliveries
• Unload incoming vehicles and ensure goods are put away
• Check deliveries before signing
• Keep the yard clean, tidy, safe and well presented
• Report any Health and Safety Issues
• Keep forklifts in good condition
• Ensure all paperwork is passed to the office promptly
• Ensure that the security of the stock and branch is maintained
• Report stock shortages and damages to the office
• Stock checking and stocktaking when required
• Replenishing stock levels and assigning materials to their correct locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.46 per hour
