What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties to include

  • Assisting the accounts, transport and sales dept with adminisration duties
  • Taking telephone calls and passing on messages where neccessary
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices in a timely manner.
  • Creating accurate reports
  • Dealing with customer enquries
  • Organising filing systems
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Providing excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will achieve Business Administrator Level 3

The apprentice will complete the following training:

  • How to manage stakeholders
  • Relevant laws and regulations
  • Financial processes such as accounting, payroll, & managing budgets
  • How to manage change
  • Project management
  • Factors that affect organisations, including political, economic, social
  • IT packages
  • Record & document production
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Coaching others
  • Effective communications
  • Quality procedures
  • Planning & organisation

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
