Description

Do you have the ability to read technical drawings? Have you had experience of using hand tools, including Grinders and Pillar Drills?

If you are looking for a permanent role, with great hours this could be the perfect role for you

We are recruiting for an Engineering Assembler to work for an established company based in Rushden.

Salary:
£24,800 increasing to £25,800 after probation

Hours: 7am to 3pm (some flexibility could be offered)

Your main duties will include:

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
Align material and put together parts to build more complex units

You will have the below skills/experience:

Proven experience as an Assembler in an engineering environment
Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
Ability in using hand tools and machines (e.g. Linisher, Pillar Drill, Grinders.)
Good understanding of quality control principles
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent handeye coordination and physical condition
Good understanding and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic would be of benefit
