Library and Information Services Manager_

This prestigious law firm with a professional but friendly feel, is looking for a Library and Information Services Manager to join them in their highly impressive West End offices.

This role will report into the Head of Knowledge and will be supported by the Knowledge Co-ordinator.

You will be liaising with Knowledge Development Lawyers, various Partners at group level responsible for Knowledge, IT Training team, Learning & Developmentteam, and the Business Development & Marketing team.

Prior experience of working in a Library and Information Services function in a professional services firm or large corporate organisation.

Location:
West End

Salary:
£65,000

Hybrid: 2/3 days a week in the office

Some duties and responsibilities:

General management of online and hard copy resources
Provide highquality information services to support the business's legal and development research needs.
Promote information tools and resources across the firm, encouraging feedback
Regularly liaising with suppliers and account managers to ensure that new developments are understood and fed back to the Knowledge team
Regularly training fee earners on information tools and resources, including LeixNexis, GlobalX.
Monitor new publications, subscriptions, platforms, digital resources
Managing the central library catalogue
Calm and effective under pressure
Library/information qualification desirable
Strong negotiation and organisational skills
Great communication skills with all levels of seniority
