We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.As valued members of the team you will participate, direct and manage the medical equipment library service across the organisation.
The post holder shall participate in the performance of the library to ensure the medical equipment library service functions effectively to deliver the required service to clinical areas.
The post holder will be responsible for participating in a quality system within Clinical Engineering with the aim to achieve accreditation to provide assurance on the medical equipment library service being provided.
You should have strong influencing and negotiation skills and should have experience working in either an acute or community setting.
The Medical Equipment Library (MEL) Assistant will support the Medical Equipment Libraries to carry out routine maintenance of medical equipment, collect, deliver and clean medical devices to ensure maximum availability of MEL devices.
The post holder will work with trust staff and linked providers and be responsible for all aspects of medical equipment library service ensuring delivery of services in line with clinical requirements whilst achieving high quality and positive outcomes for service users.
