Southern/Northern Monitoring Services (now part of Securitas Technology) are one of the UK's largest and most comprehensive Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC) and Remote Video Response Centres (RVRC).

Established since 1983 we have an excellent reputation within the industry and our highly trained staff deal with a wide range of alarm systems, covering Security, Fire, CCTV, Environmental Alarms.


What you will be doing:


  • Processing of customer requests, including ordering and setting up new accounts and deleting old accounts
  • Developing skills to complete required Data Services Levels (13)
  • Work as part of a team to ensure customer requirements are delivered in line with agreed service levels
  • Support other departments during peak times
  • Complete development courses and attend training events to develop new skills as required.
  • Provide assistance to other team members when required and carry out other activities as reasonably requested.
  • Ensure excellent levels of customer care and service are adopted in accordance with Company standards

What you need:


  • Knowledge of key operational software platforms i.e., MAS, Docuware idea, but full training can be provided.
  • Some administration experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Selfstarter. Able to take on a task and see it through to completion.
  • Attention to detail for reporting and other activities.
  • Ability to manage pressure, conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms in line with business needs.
  • The ability to plan your own work, work on your own initiative and meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • A flexible approach to the demands of the business and changing working environment
  • Proactive and positive attitude

  • Teamwork, punctuality, reliability and honesty.
