Automotive Buyer working for our high profile client in the Automotive sector.

Position Description:
- Reporting to the Global Commodity Leader the Procurement Buyer will have Global responsibility for specific commodities on behalf of the Client.
- The Procurement Buyer will utilise experience to analyse, define, and implement market and sourcing strategies for designated commodities.
- The buyer will lead the development of the supplier and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure strategic and programme alignment.
- Manage suppliers within the designated commodities, responsible for Supplier Business Reviews ensuring that the Global Commodity Strategy and Supply Base Market strategy is effectively deployed throughout all of the Client s' external supply chain.
- The buyer will support and work closely with the Regional Delivery teams and engage with specialists within the Purchasing Function as required to ensure optimum value creation and delivery for the Client, as well as leading stakeholder relationships and ensuring the Client is appropriately represented both internally and externally
- This role is a pivotal role for interface with other key functions within the Client and acts as a core conduit for true cross functional working across Direct Procurement, MP&L, STA, Product Engineering, Cost Engineering and Manufacturing
Skills Required:
- Degree qualified or similar experience within Procurement Communication must be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Growth mindset open to adapting approach in a fast paced environment and viewing mistakes as an opportunity to learn

- Degree qualified or equivalent experience

Implementing and delivering purchasing strategies with the focus on total value chain delivery Identify opportunities for creating value in a commodity or commodities

Experience Preferred:
- Experience working in Agile
