An international investment manager is looking for a Compliance Monitoring Senior Manager to join their Global Investment Compliance function on a permanent basis with a base salary of £85,000 + competitive bonus and benefits.

This position will play a keySME role in leading compliance monitoring to design and perform oversight and assurance for the firm's rapidly growing private assets and alternative business.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the daily Compliance Monitoring programme for the Private Credit business in addition to regular thematic reviews such as monitoring of conflicts, information barriers and adhoc issues.
  • Expand and review the Private Credit monitoring programme as the business expands to include additional asset classes.
  • Contribute to Compliance reporting on Investment Compliance monitoring activities including communicating with General Counsel technology teams to ensure appropriate automated reports are built.
  • Monitor current Compliance industry practices to ensure the Investment Compliance monitoring programme continues to meet regulatory expectations.

Key Skills

  • Strong experience supporting, designing and delivering Compliance Oversight and Assurance programs within Investment Management.
  • Good knowledge of asset classes including private equity, private credit, alternatives, real estate and derivatives.
  • Confident in acting independently to effectively communicate with key stakeholders, build productive relationships, solve problems and provide challenge where necessary.
