For our next project with this market leading Consumer Goods manufacturer we have been working closely with for the last two years, we have been asked to support them in sourcing an experienced Project Engineer


The role:


  • Plan and deliver the installation and commissioning of new equipment, personally
- completing or monitoring third parties, ensuring mínimal disruption to manufacturing productivity.

  • Produce accurate and detailed. Project costs and quotations
  • Evaluate and communicate project performance
  • Ensure new equipment drawings and preventative maintenance recommendations are transferred to the maintenance teams files
  • Develop user requirement specifications (URS) to ensure the clear and common
- understanding of agreed objectives and standards are established as the basis for project planning

  • Interpret designs from Engineering Project Managers and create AutoCAD drawings as specifications
  • Generate, monitor and update all project documentation including Gantt chart, Risk Register, Responsibility Matrix, Action plans etc
  • Follow the direction given, by our Head of Engineering to complete design costings or manage installation as part of projects.
  • Close out of defects/snagging checks
  • Qualification in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivale
  • Project Engineering experience within FMCG manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical bias. Ensure professional standards are maintained for all designs and check work lead times and work engineering systems and processes.
  • Knowledgeable in both Electrical engineering and automation
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • A competent user of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Auto Cad
  • A strong background in Project Administration, Design and Manufacturing essential to oversee key elements in all areas.
  • The desired person would also be flexible, adaptable to a range of working methods and processes, be well organised, able to communicate technical and practical concepts and be a team player with the ability to work and communicate confidently and effectivelywith Senior Management.

Whats on offer:


  • Salary up to £48,500


  • Working Mon

  • Fri 9 till 5.30pm
