Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for a experienced Repairs and Maintenance Operative to work in a Mobile role covering South West London.

About the job:

As a Repairs and Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out essential repairs and maintenance to our portfolio of properties, along with completing larger refurbishment jobs as and when required.

You will work closely with our Property Management team to ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake a wide range of maintenance repairs and refurbishment projects across our portfolio of rental properties.
Carry out general maintenance, plumbing (except gas works or boilers), drainage work, roofing, basic electrical work, some carpentry and experience with decorating.
Conduct detailed safety checks on properties and assess maintenance issues.
Communicate in a professional manner with our tenants and external suppliers.
Report back to the Property Manager in a clear and precise manner.
Use your own initiative to problem solve and take pride in doing everything to the highest standard.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Multitrade experience is essential.
Clean UK driver's license and experience of driving electric vans that you are free to take home to commute to and from work with.
Sound knowledge of Health and Safety in the work environment.
Excellent communication skills and computer literate.
Motivated, use own initiative and a flexible attitude.
