We are looking for apprentice practitioners at both branches of Footsteps

You will be fully supported with an induction and buddy. You will receive training in First aid and safeguarding.


The Role

• Helping to plan exciting and meaningful activities and experiences for the children based on their interests.
• Creating a fun, stimulating and nurturing learning environment for the children
• Developing positive, caring relationships with the children
• Developing your knowledge of child development and to use this in your practice with the children.
• Communicate effectively with your team, children & parents
• To follow nursery policies and procedures

We are looking for someone who

• Is willing to learn
• Is able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Is fun, energetic and caring
• Has a strong work ethic
• Wants to work with children

Safeguarding

• You will receive training in Child Protection, Prevent & FGM
• You will need to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check (DBS)
• You will need to provide references including your most recent employer (if relevant)
