• Solve problems, provide guidance and advice to employees, and perform related duties as required.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of tools and equipment used in the trade.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the construction or renovation process from concept to completion.
• Demonstrate technological awareness by using computers and electronic devices in a skillful manner, including the use of relevant software programs to record field measurements and project details.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced joinery techniques for all types of joints found in residential construction, including mortise and tenon, dovetail, checking and box joints, and mitre joints.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wood properties, wood movement, defects in wood, wood finishing techniques, and carpentry tools and equipment.

• Monday to Friday

• Perth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Joinery: 5 years (preferred)
• Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
