About the role

  • Upp are currently looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their growing team. As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support access to third party infrastructure/Joint User Poles (JUPs) across multiple regions. The Project Coordinator will own all JUP activities and the overall process, liaising with internal teams and external companies to ensure licenses are granted. The Project Coordinator will coordinate and oversee all activities through the lifecycle of the access and licensing process and encourage best practice and compliance throughout. The Project Coordinator will be the single point of contact for all JUP activities so a strong individual with outstanding organisational and communication skills is essential.
Key Accountability & Responsibilities

  • Ownership and Coordination of Joint User Pole activities across multiple Build Packs ensuring effective completion of projects
  • Working with and supporting Network Delivery, Operations and Installations to ensure timely attainment of required licenses
  • Collating all documents, photos and audits required to complete the As Built handover pack and progress through to asset owners
  • Maintaining activities within Sitetracker utilising reports and dashboards to ensure an uptodate single point of truth for the business
  • Ensuring works meet the UPP quality standards through the auditing of completed documentation to support best practice
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to management teams and other relevant stakeholders
  • Reflecting on previously completed projects to identify areas for improvement and incorporate relevant changes into future projects/processes

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge, skills & experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Adaptable and capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation and reports
  • Proven problemsolving skills
  • Prior experience of working in the telecommunications / utilities industry is advantageous but not essential. Experience and familiarity with fibre rollouts/third party access desirable
  • Selfmotivated and capable of working autonomously and effectively managing and prioritising own workload
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Telecoms experience and familiarity with fibre rollouts/third party access
  • Proficient in process mapping, facilitating efficient project workflows
Qualifications & Accreditations

  • APM or Prince 2 project management certification is desirable, but not essential
  • Sitetracker (not essential)
