We are currently seeking a Goods Out Team Leader to join our team and contribute to our continued success.


Position Overview:


As the Goods Out Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading a team of dedicated individuals responsible for the timely and accurate processing of outbound shipments.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the goods out department, ensuring efficient workflow, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of goods out staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet production targets and customer requirements
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and productivity within the goods out department
  • Collaborate closely with other teams, such as warehousing, inventory control, and customer service, to optimize processes and ensure seamless order fulfillment
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team and individual performance, addressing any performance gaps or training needs
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to ecommerce fulfillment and logistics

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an ecommerce fulfillment warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of goods out processes, including pick and pack operations, shipping, and quality control
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, with a focus on achieving performance targets and fostering a positive work culture
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with the capacity to think strategically and implement process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehousing and fulfillment operations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as required
