Role Description -
We're looking for a talented and highly motivated person to join our team as our first dedicated Head of Sales.
Like any true start-up, no two weeks will be the same and a general interest in mucking in and just getting the job done is both crucial and essential.
Reporting directly to
CEO you will be part of the management/founding team and get actively involved in the strategic decisions.
There will be some international travel involved, including exhibition attendance and key client visits. We expect there to be several visits to the US and Europe per year. Advanced notice of dates required will be provided where-ever possible.
Scope of Responsibilities -
- Define best practices, programs, standards, and processes, including go to market, revenue growth, feature optimisation, territory & account plans, prospecting & selfgenerated lead creation, and pipeline & opportunity management.
- Build relationships with decision makers and key influencers in relevant customer organisations.
- Act as a role model and cultural ambassador to ensure a great working environment.
Relevant requirements -
- At least 3 years' experience working in a senior sales role, ideally in a B2B SaaSbased software setting.
- Have great commercial awareness and ability to learn about customers quickly.
- Selfstarter with a proven sales track record in solution sales
- Target orientated with strong negotiation, upsell, crosssell and closing skills.
- The ability to develop and execute an effective new business sales strategy
- A history of using data to improve conversion rates.
- High level of computer proficiency & experience
- Team player, with a willingness to support the team.
