Job description

  • The Centre for Public Health, within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Research Fellow (Breast Cancer Now). The principal aim of the post is to undertake a Breast Cancer Now funded project to investigate inequalities in breast cancer presentation, treatment and outcomes in Northern Ireland.
  • Have or be about to obtain a relevant PhD in epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, applied mathematics/statistics or related discipline.
  • Specific, research experience and skills relevant to this project e.g. database management, statistical analysis, working with large epidemiological datasets.
  • Experience of using statistical packages such as STATA.
  • Contribution to authorship of articles in international scientific peer reviewed journals, commensurate with stage of career.
