About the role

  • The Sales Director is responsible for the Distribution, Artisans and Regional Accounts business sector within the UK&I. Working in partnership with the UK&I Leadership team, you will drive the sales strategy across all key growth segments, delivering volume and the financial business objectives, marketing and day to day manmanagement.
    Key responsibilities
  • Working in partnership with the UK&I and EMEA Commercial Leadership teams to clearly define and detail a Commercial growth strategy for the UK&I market directly linked to the Distribution, Artisans and Regional Accounts customer needs, current and future.
  • Motivate, manage and build capabilities within the sales team's in order to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Working with the UK&I Marketing Director, continuously observe critical trends and evolutions in the market and communicate to the relevant functions in the organization in a timely manner.
  • Develop and participate in the maintenance of relationships with strategic customers
  • Contribute with relevant information and proposals from a functional and local perspective to the regional sales strategies.
  • Ensure constant followup on commercial goals and achievements in order to meet/exceed budgets.
  • Collaborate constantly and directly with marketing, pricing, sourcing, supply chain to achieve short and mediumterm objectives in terms of volume, margin, product mix and market share.
  • Manage human resources planning to achieve short and medium term business results
  • Translating market and consumer insights into appealing concepts and actionable plans
  • Personal usage and experience in leveraging CRM tools or Sales Force

About you

  • Experience in customer relationship management, in particular at large and complex organizations
  • Proven experience inside a chain
  • Proven experience with project development
  • Ability to convince stakeholders engaging cross functional teams
  • Expertise into products
  • Understanding of the full manufacturing chain of the products
  • Technical background in food
  • Understands of operational challenges of the target customer

Addtional Information

  • Travel requirements: Daily travel within the UK&I as appropriate with 25% travel across EMEA as required
  • UK Base: Home Office
  • Main office location is Banbury
