Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative looking for a new role that offers the opportunity of growing your own business? I am currently recruiting for a well-established and award-winning Estate Agency in Leeds, who are looking to expand its businesswithin the Maintenance industry.

You would have a 30% share in the company and manage a team of maintenance personnel, who would complete works across the properties that are managed by their sister Estate Agent company.

This is a fantastic opportunity forsomeone who is looking to use their previous skills within a secured role. This is a self-employed role and a salary would be paid at an hourly rate.

Working hours:

As a Maintenance Operative, you'll be required to work full-time Monday - Friday.

However, as this is a start-up role, you would be expected to put the work in and work extra hours initially to get the business growing.

The successful Maintenance Operative will be offered:

Salary is negotiable depending on the level of experience. However, you will be paid an hourly rate per job undertaken and have a 30% share of the company

To be considered for the Maintenance Operative role you must have:

Previous experience within this role either in a building Contractors or own business
Extensive knowledge of the building trade
Excellent personal and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Experience in every aspect of internal and external repairs to properties

As a Maintenance Operative, your role will involve:

Liaising with clients directly about every aspect of maintenance within their property
Undertaking maintenance duties including painting walls, tiling, fitting kitchens and bathrooms, carpentry and masonry work and basic electrical tasks
Hiring and management of new multitrade staff members
Vision to grow the company forwards
