Teaching Assistant
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism or other learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and completing assignments.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment.
Experience:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring is a plus.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Graduate
Salary:
£80.00-£110.00 per day
