Business Relationship Manager Liverpool - circa £42,000


This is an exciting new role, with plenty of scope for development and progression, working within the shared service centre (SSC) of one of the UK's largest accountancy and business advisory firms in the heart of Liverpool.

The business provides audit,advisory, tax & business services, and outsourcing services to clients all over the world.

THE ROLE


The Liverpool SSC is the engine room of the business and has witnessed huge growth in the 6 years since its inception.

They provide 80 services to the business, and your role will be to promote these services to the internal stakeholders, many at seniorlevel.

As you grow into this role, your role and responsibilities will include:


  • Building trusted partnerships, acting as the conduit between the SSC hubs and the key internal stakeholders
  • Managing cross functional relationships, and building relationships with the SSC Ops Managers and Hub Leads
  • Developing a deep knowledge of the SSC strategic 5year plan and priorities
  • Understanding the business needs and pressures to educate the SSC and enhance their offering
  • Supporting the Head of Business Relationship Management with identification and measurement of opportunities to increase work for existing SSC services
  • Consulting with stakeholders to capture and review SSC usage in order to identify, forecast and increase business for the SSC
  • Proactively consult with stakeholders to translate their needs into strategic roadmaps
  • Continually researching the marketplace to understand the competitor space and the innovation of SSC operations
  • Ensuring the client experience is consistently and continuously enhanced and that all agreed services are being delivered to SLA requirements

ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced account manager/business development manager, who is confident in dealing with internal stakeholders at all levels. You have a hands-on approach to relationship management and relationship building.

Your key attributes and skills shouldinclude:

  • Successful track record of B2B sales and business/client development/account management
  • Excellent customer service and consulting skills
  • Skilled and experienced in conflict negotiation and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • The ability to actively listen, build rapport and develop credibility as a strategic partner
  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for deliverables/services and willing to make tough decisions
  • Able to collaborate with others on joint ideas and encourage others to view change as a positive process
  • Demonstrate skills in influencing and negotiation methods and techniques with the ability to persuade others
