Are you an experienced Claims Handler interested in exploring you options?Do you have the drive to provide a high quality and proactive service on behalf of high established and important clients?

Central Dundee based but the business offer a hybrid working option, where you'll be in the office 2 days and working remotely 3 days - unless you prefer to work full time in the office.
- Establish if cover is in place for the claim
- Record all claims on the digital claims handling system
- Investigate all claims either from the desk or by instructing loss adjusters
- Make the decision on the liability and negotiate settlement of the claim
- Build relationships with external clients and stakeholders
- Provide referral support to less experienced colleagues
Skills & Experience:
- Experience of policy wording and terms and conditions
- Experience within insurance and the insurance market
- A knowledge of how to price a claim
- Knowledge of reserving philosophies desirable
- Excellent communications skills at all levels
- Excellent customer service
- Able to work comfortably as part of a team
- Able to take responsibility for their own work
- Must be adaptable and flexible in terms of work
- A good standard of planning and organisational skills
- A good standard of IT skills
