Due to continued success, our friendly team here at Aerocare are looking to recruit an experienced Aircraft Paint Technician to join the team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
This role involves but is not limited to:
- Carrying out preparation, and painting of Aircrafts and components as directed by the Paint Shop Supervisor.
- Interpreting drawings from designs or verbal instructions.
- Being familiar with all paint systems, surface preparation, test equipment, defect identification and defect rectification process.
- Always using and promoting the use of PPE.
- Ensuring work packs and task cards are completed IAW company procedures.
- Adhering to and complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards and attend any training as required.
- Understanding and complying with all company rules, agreements, policies, quality procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
- Ensuring the paint shop is kept tidy and clean following 5s principles as required.
- Reporting all occurrences using the company reporting system.
- Actively participate in paint shop continuous improvement process.
- Offsite working, as required, given reasonable amount of notice.
- Working towards selfcertification and being responsible for the quality of your own work.
- Assisting, as requested, with any tasks within the main workshop facility and main hangar.
- Being able to work shifts as workload/business requires.
- Carrying out any additional duties as agreed by your line Manager/Supervisor.
Person Specification:
- Be efficient in the use of Gravity, Suction, Electrostatic and Airless spray equipment. Must have experience of Solvent paint products and chemical paint removal processes.
- Basic understanding of Part 145, Part 21G and company procedures.
- Excellent hand skills, able to carry out intricate repairs and paint tasks.
- Ability to manage a demanding workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Can stand or kneel while carrying out tasks.
- Be able to work at height and on scaffolding, stands, platforms and steps.
- Ability to take and follow instructions accurately and be able to work as a team player.
- Good basic standard of literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths).
- Good understanding of materials and processes required to carry out high quality paint tasks.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of Aircraft component repairs
- Knowledge of Aircraft Composite repairs
- Experience of Aircraft interior repairs
- EWIS,HF,SFAR Training
Essential Attributes:
- Be selfmotivated, very organised and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Have a passion for customer satisfaction.
- Be able to multitask and work well under pressure in a fastmoving environment.
Qualifications:
- Formal Qualification in Paint Application (Level 3 City and Guilds Aircraft Refinishing).
- Recognised vocational qualification in relevant Area.
- Paint system technical training evidence.
- EWIS, HF, SFAR Training
