Accounts Senior - Client Manager Hampshire Recruitment Services are delighted to represent a forward thinking, 3 office Accountancy Firm who have just moved into new offices due to significant growth.
The firm has ambitious plans to grow over the next 3 years which will create more career opportunities.


Salary:
£45,000 - £60,000


Location:
Alton, Hampshire

The Role:


This position focusses on regular conversations with a portfolio of clients so they understand their numbers, and providing the highest level of support, to run, improve and grow their business.

This includes managing the services provided to them, ensuringthey are delivered by the team on a timely basis, and also providing business advise.


The position would suit someone who has at least 3 years experience working in practice & is either Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified By Experience.


Day to day duties:


  • Ability to produce statutory accounts, management accounts, regulatory returns, and tax computations
  • Manage 2 trainees
  • Using Xero & Sage
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of strong working processes, and providing day to day training support to the team
  • To include involvement in management meetings and reporting directly to the Managing Director on a regular basis

Skills and experience:


  • Qualified, Part-Qualfied or Qualified By Experience
  • 3+ years previous accountancy practice experience essential
  • Superb communications skills, particularly in meetings and on the telephone
  • Experience in Xero & Sage desireable
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate
  • Dynamic, team orientated, and confident
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Great organisational and communications skills (role does involve client contact)
  • Committed to continuous personal development
