What does the role involve?
You'll lead a team of 11 who regulate vehicle downtime, to ensure effective cost management and increased vehicle on the road time for our specialist vehicle customers.
Your key responsibilities include making sure all repairs carried out are executed in a timely and cost-effective manner, with minimum disruption to the customer; ensuring consistent communication is made with both parties through to completion - helping to increase fleet availability for our key customers.
Attendance of the Trowbridge office will be required for the first 4 weeks to ensure for robust training and to allow you to get to grips with the ethos of Novuna and how we work.
Following initial training, the role will then adapt a hybrid approach with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Delivery of maximum fleet availability for our customers by ensuring length of time off road is reduced
- Work closely with internal key stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient service is provided in particular the Compliance and Technical Teams
- Leadership and people management of a team of controllers, acting as a point of escalation for complex issues and cases
- Proactively managing supplier and 3rd party relationships to the benefit of the customer and our business
You understand what's involved in maintaining and repairing vehicles and you have experience of dealing with suppliers in this area.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics and a technical understanding
- Solutionoriented mindset and ability to think operationally
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft office particularly excel when it comes to analysing performance and producing relevant improvement plans and reports
