Real Staffing are currently supporting several West Midlands based Integrated Care Boards to resource Contract Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Nurse Assessors.


You will need excellent knowledge of the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare, a minimum 1 years experience as a CHC Nurse Assessor and must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) orChildren Nurse (RSCN).


Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Chairing and completing CHC decision support tool (DST) assessments for patients with positive CHC checklists, identifying their needs and whether they meet the criteria for partial funding from the NHS, funded nursing care or fully funded Continuing Healthcare
  • Completing CHC reviews for patients who are funded
  • Working in collaboration with a range of other healthcare professionals & multidisciplinary teams
  • Some roles may also include case management
The majority of the roles are remote working. Contracts will initially be 3-6 months with a likelihood to extend further. Day rates start from £300 per day up to £350 per day for more niche skill sets.

You will have the option to work via an Umbrella Company or Limited company for Outside IR35 roles.
