Event Project Lead - based between Warminster and Salisbury.

About us:

Zoo Events Group is a nationwide industry-leading provider of Luxury washroom facilities and temporary accommodations for boutique campsites.


We work with some of the largest festival organisers, as well as prestigious events such as Goodwood and Formula 1 at Silverstone.


Position details:


In this position as
Event Project Lead, you will be responsible for the overall management of our equipment at individual events, not only executing the installation and decommissioning of equipment but also in the core planning of these events.

This opportunity will see you working with a fun, dynamic team of people within a fast-paced environment. We're a small and growing company with a focus on providing a positive place to work.

This position is based at our yard in Stockton, Warminster.


Contract details:

This listing is a full-time permanent position, however, those interested in a temporary or short-term contract may still apply.


Duties include:


  • Familiarising yourself with event briefing in advance and making arrangements with the client to meet deliveries and reacting to any lastminute schedule changes.
  • Installation and decommissioning of toilet and shower facilities.
  • Driving to and from events where scheduled.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles (Forklift training can be provided).
  • Basic Plumbing including specialist vacuum equipment (training can be provided).
  • Onsite attending (Overseeing the operation of the equipment during the event live period).
  • Fault finding and repair.
  • Working as part of a team in a fastpaced environment to ensure targets are met.

Essential skills:


  • Practical, handson skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Physically fit as the job will entail manual labour.
  • Willingness to learn with a flexible approach to work.

Experience in any of the following is beneficial:

  • Moving trailer combinations.
  • Forklift / telehandler experience (Training can be provided).
  • Experience in leading a small team.
  • Experience in events.
  • Knowledge of plumbing or general maintenance.

General information:


Staying away from home:


Each event usually involves a working period of around 7-10 days but we can be flexible most of the time; the majority of our events are within a couple of hours of Salisbury.


Events do not operate 9-5 So you will need to be flexible throughout the summer months and willing to work away at events.

We will ensure you are well looked after when away and will provide all necessary vehicles, training and tools. There will be plenty of opportunity for overtime with great earning potential through the 'peak' months (May-Sept).
