Our client, a global focused Venture Capital Fund, are currently looking to hire a part-time Head of HR to join their dynamic London team.

The fund have a great track record within the space, partnering with founders across the US and European markets. Theyhave recently completed on a new fund raise, making it an exciting and busy period to join the team.

What the job involves

As the Head of HR, you will be tasked with providing generalist HR support and managing the people function across the funds global offices.

You will take the lead on a number of internal strategic, operational and talent-based related tasks and projects, partneringand working very closely with the senior stakeholders within the business.

This is a brand new and important hire for the fund, allowing plenty of autonomy for you to mould and develop the position as you see fit.

It is an excellent opportunity for a HR professionalwith a broad generalist back and experience of working within the financial or professional services sector.

The fund is very flexible on the structure of the working week.

  • Lead the delivery of the HR and people function from both a strategic and operational perspective
  • Day to day generalist HR support across the business
  • Provide first line support for all HR, people and talent related queries
  • Performance, development and remuneration management
  • Develop strong relationships and work closely with the wider business
  • Promote HR best practice in regards to legislation, regulatory reviews and policies
  • Work closely with senior leadership in regards to talent management
  • Driving all HRrelated responsibility throughout the business

Who we are looking for:


  • Broad HR experience working within PE, investment management or partnershipled organisation.
  • International exposure and experience within Europe would be advantageous
  • Great with people balancing the needs and expectations of leadership, management and employees
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, evolving environment and to perform in an ambitious team
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, with confidence sharing and supporting opinions.
